Core-4-402.12, C: Fixed Equipment, Elevation or Sealing Spacing at drain of oven unable to allow for proper cleaning. Floor mounted equipment that is not easily movable shall be sealed to the floor or elevated on legs that provide at least a 6 inch clearance between the floor and the equipment. If no part of the floor under the floor-mounted equipment is more than 6 inches from the point of cleaning access, the clearance space may be only 4 inches. Person in charge to work with management to assess spacing.

Core-4-301.14, C: Ventilation Hood Systems, Adequacy Observed ovens left of grill sitting in front of wall with plastic FRP. Oven unable to sit underneath ventilation hood, causing an excess of collection of grease on walls and ceiling and deterioration of FRP. Ventilation hood systems and devices shall be sufficient in number and capacity to prevent grease or condensation from collecting on walls and ceilings. Walls behind cooking equipment should be of metal, ceramic tiles or other easily cleanable durable material. Person in charge stated facility is working with management to install metal material and adjust equipment as so the ovens are placed under hood.

Inspection Comments

At the start of inspection, person in charge informed me of maintenance to plumbing and tiling at mechanical warewashing unit. All dishes continue to be properly washed and sanitized in 3-compartment sink until unit is installed and properly washing and sanitizing. Establishment to begin plans for proper drainage in outdoor area where gas lines and trash compactor is located. Previous and current plans to re-pipe rusted gas lines due to excess water from cleaning areas. This establishment received a(n) A Grade and had 0 Priority and 0 Priority Foundation violations on this inspection. Discussed establishment procedures regarding: handwashing, usage of ice, equipment maintenance No County legal action will result from this inspection. Inspection report emailed. On July 1st, 2023, the Environmental Services Department started emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees.
