Person in charge stated the thermostat was accidently adjusted to 40*F. Maintenance was able to to readjust thermostat. Last recorded ambient temperature was 42*F.

Prior to inspection, person in charge informed me of outage in middle walk-in refrigerator. No foods continue to be held in unit and are held in neighboring unit at 41*F or below. Reinspection for thermometers to occur by 11/27/2023. This establishment received a B Grade and had 0 Priority, 1 Priority Foundation and 2 Core violations on this inspection. Discussed establishment procedures regarding: equipment maintenance, temperature logs, dumpster area No County legal action will result from this inspection. Inspection report emailed. On July 1st, 2023, the Environmental Services Department started emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees. We need a current and accurate email address on file to ensure you receive a copy of your permit card and invoice(s) upon renewal. e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
