Inspection Comments

Construction Inspection. Walked with Sonja. Remodel with Other Effective Means of Barrier Protection for continuous openings. Other Effective Means of Barrier Protection has been approved on this inspection. A total of 8 fly bait stations have been installed on exterior perimeter of building, as well as 4 rodent bait stations. Fly lights have been installed in interior of bar. Maintain your pest control agreement for service of these devices. Correct the following items prior to your routine inspection: 1) Cover all plywood on interior of bar with FRP or similar, namely behind ice machine. 2) Provide a cove base throughout interior of bar area, under ice bin and behind ice machine. An 80-gallon water heater has been installed (located in closet in ladies restroom). No County legal action will result from this inspection. Report emailed to Sonja.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
