Priority Foundation-3-202.15, Pf: Package Integrity. For a permanent fix to this violation, check out these simple tools in our Active Managerial Control Toolbox, made especially for you. https://www.maricopa.gov/4619/AMC-Toolbox---Approved-Source. Observed 16 dented cans of refried beans, menudo, soups. The cans with dents on the seams, clearly compromising the hermetic seal, mixed with other, non-dented cans. Person in charge (PIC) moved the cans onto a shelf, separate from the other cans, to be returned to food vendor or discarded. Dented cans should not be mixed in with other cans that will be used for consumption. Discussed the location and severity of dents on cans. Dents on any seams of can should be considered unsafe, along with deep, sharp dents.
