Observed deli slicer being stored as clean. There had been remnants of meat and dried food underneath the blade. Spoke with person in charge on the last time they had used the slicer. Discussed with person in charge about cleaning procedures and frequencies for the deli slicer. Employee had removed the item and cleaned it. Training should occur to verify that employees are aware on how to clean properly clean and store items.
