Core-6-501.114, C: Maintaining Premises, Unnecessary Items and Litter-----Observed large amount of unnecessary equipment and litter being stored throughout back storage room. Photos were taken documenting the unnecessary items. Items included excess tables, benches, unused fryers, unused pans, unused grill tops, make tables, coolers, prep tables, wood paneling, sheets of glass, ladders, sink fixtures, and various other items. Noted build up of dirt, grease, and other matter on surfaces of most equipment. Noted excess equipment resulting in pest harborage conditions. Repeat violation. This is the ninth consecutive violation. Correct prior to re-inspection as part of enforcement process.

Re-inspection conducted in regards to follow-up for EF-21-00161. Upon re-inspection, violation #53 (6-501.114) was not corrected at the time of inspection. Establishment is in violation of Compliance Order. Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection. Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
