Inspection Comments

Onsite meeting conducted with owner. Present at meeting were owner of establishment (Christiana C.), EH supervisor (RS# 1206), and EH managing supervisor (RS# 678). From previous meeting conducted on 6/16/2021, establishment failed to provide supervisor or managing supervisor with adequate information on coming into compliance with EF-21-00161. Establishment failed to provide EH supervisor and EH managing supervisor a written timeline and plan for correcting violation not to exceed 30 days by 6/18/2021. This meeting was conducted with owner to assess compliance with EF-21-00161 regarding nine consecutive violations for violation #53, Core-6-501.114, C: Maintaining Premises, Unnecessary Items and Litter. At the time of inspection, the establishment was still not in compliance with EF-21-00161. During meeting, a copy of Compliance Order was provided to owner. Reviewed with owner that a copy was hand delivered to establishment on 5/11/2021. Reviewed penalties associated with Compliance Order and reviewed with owner that facility is currently subject to those penalties as outlined in the compliance order due to not meeting the timelines outlined. Reviewed with owner that all items not actively being used by establishment and any equipment in disrepair must be removed from the facility to be in compliance. Items may be relocated to offsite storage unit. Discussed with owner that facility needs to come into compliance by 8/31/2021. Discussed that owner needs to provide updates on progress regarding coming into compliance to EH supervisor and EH managing supervisor. Failure to come into compliance may result in further County enforcement action. Report was emailed to and inspection rights acknowledged by Christiana C. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
