Inspection Comments

Onsite meeting conducted with owner. Present at meeting were owner of establishment (Christiana C.) and EH supervisor (RS# 1206). EH managing supervisor (RS# 678) was video conferenced during inspection. From previous meeting conducted on 7/28/2021, establishment failed to provide supervisor or managing supervisor with adequate information on coming into compliance with EF-21-00161. Establishment failed to provide EH supervisor and EH managing supervisor a written timeline and plan for correcting violation. This meeting was conducted with owner to assess compliance with EF-21-00161 regarding nine consecutive violations for violation #53, Core-6-501.114, C: Maintaining Premises, Unnecessary Items and Litter. At the time of inspection, the establishment was still not in compliance with EF-21-00161. Noted some improvement but all items not actively being used by establishment or necessary to the establishment had not been removed. Reviewed code reference with owner and requirements. The premises shall be free of: (A) Items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the establishment such as EQUIPMENT that is nonfunctional or no longer used; and (B) Litter. Reviewed with owner that all items not actively being used by establishment and any equipment in disrepair must be removed from the facility to be in compliance. Items may be relocated to offsite storage unit. Report was emailed to and inspection rights acknowledged by Christiana C. Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection.
