This inspection was conducted as a result of a communicable disease report and inspection request from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health.
Discussed the six reportable foodborne illnesses and corresponding symptoms employees must report to the person in charge to reduce the risk of transmission of foodborne illness.
Holding temperatures of PHF/TCS food items were found to be in compliance.
Discussed proper hand washing procedures for diaper changing with person in charge. Advised person in charge to remind employees that within the 20 second hand wash requirement, hands must be scrubbed with soap between 10 to 15 seconds. Management was referred to diaper changing guidance provided by ADHS (present on-site).
Reviewed diaper changing logs, employee illness, and attendee illness logs while on-site.
Investigation conducted with RS 1225.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly
washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced
food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance
with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
