Observed hand washing sink in front serving area of kitchen without hand drying provisions. Discussed with PIC that hand drying provisions needs to be accessible at hand washing sink at all times to wash hands properly. Paper towels were refilled in dispenser.

Observed no chlorine test strips in facility to test chlorine dishwasher. Discussed with person in charge that test strips are needed to check concentrations of sanitizers. Re-inspection scheduled for 6/22.

No County legal action will result from this inspection. Report sent by email. Upon inspection, a remodel has taken place which may require an application and plans to be submitted, and/or additional permits. Please submit an application, supporting documentation, and fees within 5 business days. Observed facility removed three compartment sink from bar area and replace it with chemical dishwasher . *Also spoke to PIC that kitchen might be extended in future and they will need to submit a remodel for this prior to execution. The Environmental Services Department will begin emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees in the coming months. Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
