This advisory was conducted to review safe criteria for the installation of a pressurized backflow prevention device on the dedicated water line in the mop sink area in the main kitchen. Pressurized vacuum breakers may be kept under constant pressure but need to be installed AT LEAST 12 inches ABOVE the water outlet. Once properly installed, a Y valve may be used on the PVB for simultaneous use with a chemical dispenser and a hose with a pressure sprayer attached to it. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance
with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
