Core-3-304.12 , C: In-Use Utensils, Between-Use Storage Observed spoon being stored in sanitizer water on counter behind concession stand. PIC stated spoon is used for scooping jalapenos. Had PIC move spoon to empty container. Utensils should be stored dry, in running water, or in water above 135*F to prevent growth of bacteria. Recommend obtaining small crockpot to keep water above 135*F if wanting to store utensil in water.
