Observed deep hotel pan of cooked beans, covered with a lid, with an internal temperature ranging between 46°F-49°F in reach-in cooler. PIC stated the beans had been in cooler since last night and not removed. Beans were discarded. Discussed portioning out food into smaller containers to ensure proper cooling times.
