PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-205.15 (A), P: System Maintained in Good Repair; According to Law - Observed chemical dispenser directly connected to the mop sink containing atmospheric vacuum breaker located on left side of the store (mop sink providing water for chemical dispenser).. Any obstructions or shut off valve downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker on the mop sink may compromise it since it is not designed to be subjected to continuous pressure. The atmospheric vacuum breaker is the bell shaped device in-between the hot/cold water spigots and acts as backflow protection. Chemical dispenser should be connected to its own separate water supply (or connected upstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker). Provided hand out detailing approved mop sink set ups. Correct prior to re-inspection on July 2nd 2021. Core-5-205.15 (B), C: System Maintained in Good Repair; Maintained - The mop sink located in the back of the store does not drain (observed pool of water in mop sink basin at time of inspection). Please have mop sink basin drain serviced so that it drains properly. At time of inspection, back flow protection on the mop sink faucet was functional. There is another mop sink on the left side of the store that can be used until this mop sink can be serviced. Correct prior to next routine inspection. 3-compartment sink located in the produce prep room used for ware washing does not have access to plain hot and cold water at all 3-compartments. All 3-compartments must have access to plain hot and cold water via faucet (with proper air gap). Chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles are not considered substitutes for a faucet with hot and cold water. Correct prior to next routine inspection.
