The person in charge (PIC) stated the soda nozzles are cleaned on daily basis. The PIC removed soda nozzles and had them cleaned at the time of inspection. Per FDA Food Code 2013, Surfaces of utensils and equipment contacting food that is not time/temperature control for safety food such as iced tea dispensers, carbonated beverage dispenser nozzles, beverage dispensing circuits or lines, water vending equipment, coffee bean grinders, ice makers, and ice bins must be cleaned on a routine basis to prevent the development of slime, mold, or soil residues that may contribute to an accumulation of microorganisms

The person in charge (PIC) stated they are currently working on the issue. Physical facilities shall be maintained in good repair to be smooth, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent. Please make proper repairs prior to next routine inspection. Per FDA Food Code 2013, “Poor repair and maintenance compromises the functionality of the physical facilities. This requirement is intended to ensure that the physical facilities are properly maintained in order to serve their intended purpose”

Inspection report rights were verbally acknowledged with Ivette M. Inspection report was emailed and received by Ivette M. at the time of inspection. Of note: Reviewed TCS foods and provided a handout. Also reviewed cleaning frequency for equipment/surfaces in contact TCS foods (4hrs) vs non-TCS foods (24hrs).
