PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-203.14, P: Backflow Prevention Device, When Required--- Establishment had chemicals dispensing devices connected to faucet of 3-compartment sink without a proper backflow device between the chemical and the drinking water. Person in charge had chemical dispensing device removed from 3-compartment sink faucet at time of inspection. A PLUMBING SYSTEM shall be installed to preclude backflow of a solid, liquid, or gas contaminant into the water supply system at each point of use at the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT, including on a hose bibb if a hose is attached or on a hose bibb if a hose is not attached and backflow prevention is required by LAW, by Installing an APPROVED backflow prevention device as specified under § 5-202.14.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced
food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance
