Observed soda nozzles on kitchen soda fountain with gel-like residue build-up. Advised person in charge (PIC) that equipment which dispenses beverages shall be cleaned to sight and touch and at a frequency to prevent residue build-up which can contaminate foods. PIC stated they will have soda nozzles washed, rinsed, and sanitized as soon as possible.

PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-402.13, P: Conveying Sewage Observed floor sink of main ice machine in back kitchen area, filled and not draining. Floor drain was not overflowing and other floor sinks in the kitchen were clear and draining normally. Advised PIC that floor sinks and plumbing shall be free/clear and drain normally to prevent backups and contaminate premises. PIC stated they will have the floor sink cleared as soon as possible.

Core-6-501.12, C: Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions Observed an excessive amount of debris underneath kitchen fryers, equipment in kitchen, and wire storage racks in walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Additionally, observed dried food debris on walls of kitchen. Advised person in charge (PIC) that walls and areas underneath equipment shall be cleaned to sight and touch and at a frequency to prevent debris build up. PIC stated they will have the areas cleaned more thoroughly and frequently. 2ND CONSECUTIVE VIOLATION Core-6-501.11, C: Repairing-Premises, Structures, Attachments, and Fixtures-Methods Observed broken cove base tiles at base of corner wall, between back kitchen handwashing sink and hamburger patty freezer and grill. Advised person in charge (PIC) that structures shall be maintained in good repair to ensure they smooth and easily cleanable. PIC stated they will have the cove base tiles repaired.
