Core-6-501.111 (A-B, D), C: Controlling Pests; Monitoring -- Observed a couple of drain flies in bar area in back area where glasses and liquor bottles are stored. Discussed pest control and monitoring for pests. The premises must be maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests must be controlled to eliminate their presence on the premises by: routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies; routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests; and eliminating harborage conditions. Core-6-202.13, C: Insect Control Devices, Design and Installation -- Observed insect control device plugged in above wine glasses in back bar area. Person in charge moved insect control device. Insect control devices must be installed so that the devices are not located over a food preparation area; and dead insects and insect fragments are prevented from being impelled onto or falling on exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.

No County legal action will result from this inspection. Core-2-102.12(A), C: Certified Food Protection Manager - No certified food manager certification available onsite. Fix prior to next routine inspection. The person in charge must be a certified food protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an accredited program. Inspection report emailed and verified. Establishment currently has an open remodel permit RM-09490 for pending approval of installed walk-in refrigerator. Please continue to work with Plan Review for remodel.
