Facility uses Quat Ammonia sanitizer solution. PIC stated the solution is being diluted with water because the dispenser is providing a solution that is too strong for food contact surfaces. Sanitizers were found to be in appropriate range during inspection. Please obtain and maintain a supply of sanitizer test strips prior to re-inspection within 10 days.

An air gap of 1 inch or the radius of the drain line in inches (whichever is greater) shall be provided between the end of the drain line and the rim of the floor sink. Please repair prior to re-inspection within 3 days. Core-5-205.15 (B), C: System Maintained in Good Repair; Maintained - Drain at hand wash station near office table is slightly slow and multiple hand washes cannot be completed in a row without waiting for it to drain. Water pressure in restroom hand wash station is slightly low but still functional. Please repair and maintain prior to next routine inspection.

Core-6-201.11, C: Floors, Walls and Ceilings-Cleanability - caulking at both hand wash stations and 3 compartment sink is cracked, separated, or beginning to erode and needs replacement. Clean outs below 3 compartment sink and rear hand wash station need covers to protect internal walls. Small hole in wall panel in rear of facility near mop sink. Ceiling tile in rear of facility has a square cut out of it from previous work that didn't get repaired after the work was complete. Space around the piping should be filled in on that same ceiling panel.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
