For a permanent fix to this violation, check out these simple tools in our Active Managerial Control Toolbox, made especially for you. https://www.maricopa.gov/4573/AMC-Toolbox---Handwashing. ------ Observed an employee wash hands by putting soap on hands and immediately rinsing under running water. The employee was sweeping the floor then went to wash hands before preparing a sandwich. Notified the employee about the correct handwashing procedure and they rewashed their hands correctly. Discussed handwashing procedure with person in charge. The proper handwashing procedure is: rinse under warm running water, apply soap and lather for 15-20 seconds outside of water, and then rinse. Advised PIC to ensure that all employees are trained on proper handwashing procedure.
