Plumbing Inspection - E&D Class 2 This inspection was conducted with the on site contractor. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Abel C. at the time of this inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection. Address the following prior to final permit approval; 1. Provide certified, RPZ backflow prevention devices for all water lines that feed the RO system. All piping and fitting on the downstream side of this device must be plastic or stainless steel, no copper or brass. 2. Provide certified, RPZ backflow prevention devices for all blender rinsers installed in sinks or in countertops. 3. Provide a certified, RPZ backflow prevention device for the water supply line to the patio mister system. 4. All sinks must have regular hot and cold water provided. This is in addition to any superheated water provided to the sink. 5. Provide the 80-gallon capacity water heater as indicated on your submitted application to meet the minimum hot water demands of the fixtures in the facility. 6. Provide an additional water line, with an angle-stop or ball valve, at the mop sink/ utility area to supply chemical dispensers. Do not use the mop sink faucet. Y- Valves and downstream shut-off devices are not permitted on mop sink faucets or chemical dispensers. 7. Provide a sneeze guard with side panels for protection of all exposed food and beverages along customer serving counters. The Environmental Services Department will begin emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees in the coming months. We need a current and accurate email address on file to ensure you receive a copy of your permit card and invoice(s) upon renewal. Priority violation is a major violation that directly contributes to increasing the risk of foodborne illness or injury.
e.g. - Food employees do not properly wash hands when required
Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
