Inspection Comments

First walk through of the new field house concessions stand. Plumbing is complete and dry wall is about ready to be installed. Noted dedicated water line at the mop sink. The following items are planned: 1). Floor in the janitors closet will be concrete, control joint will be filled and floor will be water sealed. 2). For the soda system, a Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve (ASSE1013) will be installed upstream. Soda company will tie directly into the backflow valve. Valve will have a hub drain that will be led to the floor sink. 3). Soda drain will be be le to the floor sink, make sure to maintain gravity flow and air gap at the floor sink. If flex line runs horizontally, transition into a rigid drain. 4). Air curtain will be installed above the serving window. 5). If the floor sink ends up under the water heater, you can mount the water heater on a stand if that works. 4 floor sinks are in place, hose bib and waster to all fixtures. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to superintendent.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
