Construction inspection for a Class 5 Food Catering permit was conducted with superintendent Shawn M. and Plan Review team without an appointment. The inspection was conducted to assess the status of the project. The permit is still in plan review deficiency. No additional inspections will be conducted on-site until all deficiency items are addressed that are listed on the deficiency letter. Clear responses and plan mark-ups will be required. Discussed construction timelines, sink fixtures locations, and finishes throughout the areas. Observed walk-in coolers, tile flooring, and floor sinks installed in various areas. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly
washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced
food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance
with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
