Inspection Comments

Equipment inspection conducted with Site Superintendent, Luis. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 70% complete. Inspection rights and inspection report was emailed to Luis Address the following items prior to the next inspection:being submersed at 1. Provide separate water line for the chemical dispenser at the mopsink 2. Provide three compartment sink that will be able to submerse all pots/utensils over 50% of the equipment. All utensils/pots to be able to be warewashed at three compartment sink and to fit inside sink compartments as required per code 3. Provide cove base in the front service area and in the restrooms 4. Provide covered trash container in the womens restroom 5. Complete installation of the sinks 6. All drainage lines to be hard piped and providing a 1 inch air gap to the top of the floor sink flood lip for indirect plumbing 7. Seal areas in the walk in coolers 8. Provide light in the walk in cooler Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 402-3147 for a final inspection at 100% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed. Please also ensure you have read your Responsibilities to Qualify for a Permit document and are in compliance with all requirements before final inspection. A certified food manager is required at time of approval. If not already obtained, please obtain your certified food manager certificate from an ANSI approved testing company. All other food handlers must obtain ANSI approved food handler certificates. No county legal action will result from the inspection.

e.g. - Food employees do not properly wash hands when required
Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
