New permit re-inspection walk through. Restaurant is open and operating. Almost all items have been corrected. The following items were identified for follow up. 1). Caulk the holes in the FRP at the side of the mop sink. Near the mop rack. 2). Where base tile stands open at the top wall juncture, please re-grout, also at tile in the front of the house at the rolling cookie case. 3). The Backflow valve test was not yet done looking at the dust on the test port caps. Please have the reduced pressure zone backflow valve tested and certified. Keep test report on site for review. Noted that one of the new filters is leaking. Permit issued Eating and Drinking 10+ Class III No County legal action will result form this inspection. The Environmental Services Department will begin emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees in the coming months. We need a current and accurate email address on file to ensure you receive a copy of your permit card and invoice(s) upon renewal. e.g. - Food employees do not properly wash hands when required
Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
