Plumbing Inspection E&D Class 4 This inspection was conducted with the A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Rayna C. at the time of this inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection. Correct the following prior to final permit approval; 1. There is currently no cove base finish at the floor/wall junctures on the inside or outside of the walk-in unit. The metal installed inside the walk-in has 90° angles at the floor/wall junctures. Provide a metal cove base finish at the floor/wall junctures on the inside and outside of the walk-in unit. 2. Provide a cove base finish at the floor/wall and floor/cabinet junctures throughout the kitchen, restrooms and front service areas. 3. Provide a certified, drinking water safe, RPZ backflow prevention device for the water supply to the soda fountain carbonator. All piping and fittings on the downstream side of this device must be plastic or stainless steel, no copper or brass. 4. Provide an indirect drain pipe that empties into the floor sink with a minimum 1 in. air-gap for the three compartment sink. 5. Ensure that all ice bins and ice machines (including any on the soda fountain) have separate, indirect drain pipes that empty into floor sinks with minimum 1 in. air-gaps. Drain pipes from ice machines and ice bins must not connect to any other waste drain pipes. 6. Seal the space between the mop sink basin and the walk-in unit wall. 7. The mop sink faucet cannot be used to supply water to chemical dispensers. Provide a dedicated water line for any chemical dispensers installed in the mop sink area. 8. Provide washable ceiling tiles above the kitchen, front service and restroom areas. 9. Any pot fillers installed in the cooking area must have adequate backflow protection or fixed air-gaps.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
