Plumbing Inspection - E&D Class 3 This inspection was conducted with the owners. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Blackhawk J. at the time of this inspection. Correct the following prior to final permit approval; 1. The food prep sink must be connected to water supply lines so that hot and cold water are available. The extendable sprayer at this sink must be eliminated. 2. Provide a side panel for the end of the sneeze guard at the point of sale end of the counter that is exposed to customers. This side panel should be as high as the portion of the sneeze guard that is already installed. 3. Provide a metal cove base at the floor/wall junctures beneath the hood where there is currently a 90° angle at the floor/wall juncture. 4. Provide a drain line with a hard pipe end piece for the coffee tap cooler. There should be a minimum 1 in. air-gap between the hard end piece and the flood rim of the floor sink that it drains into. 5. Provide a funnel drain assembly that empties into the floor sink for the RPZ backflow prevention device for the RO system. 6. Provide a vinyl cove base finish at the floor/wall junctures and floor/cabinet junctures in the front service area. 7. Provide a self-closer for the customer restroom door. No county legal action will result from this inspection.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
