Plumbing Inspection - E&D Class 3 This inspection was conducted with the on site superintendent. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Chris B. at the time of this inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection. Complete the following prior to final permit approval; 1. The RPZ backflow device for the soda fountain carbonator must be tested and certified. Also, provide a funnel drain assembly for this device that drains into the nearby floor sink with a minimum 1 in. air-gap. 2. Provide a metal cove base at the floor/wall junctures underneath the hood. 3. Provide a minimum of a semi-gloss paint finish to the bare wood on the underside of the front countertops. Also, caulk and seal the spaces between this countertop and the supporting wall underneath. 4. Provide a solid surface countertop for the unfinished top of the short wall in the main cooking area. 5. Provide minimum 1 in. air-gaps between all drain pipes and the flood rims of the floor sinks they drain into 6. Provide washable, durable ceiling tiles above the kitchen and front service area. 7. Provide hard pipe drain lines such as PVC for the ice machine that empty into the nearby floor sink with minimum 1 in. air-gaps.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
