Sewage Present in Establishment
The floor sink below the 3 compartment sink and the 2 floor drains were overflowing with wastewater when the water in the sinks were used. The south floor drain overflowed when the sanitizing compartment of the sink was used. The floor sink and the north floor drain overflowed with the handwashing sink and other sinks plumbed to the floor sink were utilized. The establishment was suspended as the plumbing could not be fixed immediately and will not operate until plumbing is serviced and a re-inspection can be completed.

Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection. Maricopa County policy requires suspension of the operating permit of businesses with serious conditions constituting an imminent public health threat. Your permit is hereby suspended. If desired, you may request a hearing within 15 days. When violations are corrected call this office for a reinspection to reinstate your operating permit. If violations are not corrected or if a hearing is not requested within 25 days, your operating permit will be revoked.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
