Sewage Present in Establishment
5-402.13, P – Conveying Sewage Upon entering establishment, observed standing wastewater in floor drain beneath 3-compartment sink. In storage hallway and back room where mop sink is located, observed standing water. Person in Charge (PIC) stated that repairs were in progress for broken plumbing pipes. PIC stated that wastewater from mop sink, 3-compartment sink and handwashing sink does not properly drain. PIC contacted property management to request repair service for plumbing. Immediate suspension at time of inspection was due to the backflow of sewage via drain inside or directly outside of the establishment that cannot be immediately resolved. Contact Inspector once drainage is properly working to lift the immediate suspension.

Maricopa County policy requires suspension of the operating permit of businesses with serious conditions constituting an imminent public health threat. Your permit is hereby suspended. If desired, you may request a hearing within 15 days. When violations are corrected call this office for a reinspection to reinstate your operating permit. If violations are not corrected or if a hearing is not requested within 25 days, your operating permit will be revoked. Due to the violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result from this inspection. Inspection Report emailed and confirmed received.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
