Observed a section of the kitchen dry food storage area that is used to store paints. Advised person in charge (PIC) that areas which store foods shall not store items which can contaminate foods. Additionally, food storage areas shall not be used to store equipment which is not used in the operation of the kitchen. PIC stated they will have the items removed.
