Inspection Comments

Second inspection for the kitchen. Walk through with the superintendent. The following items were discussed: 1). Kitchen, walk-in units and laundry room floors will get a protect all flooring with integral cove coming up the wall with a z-trim. 2). Staff bathrooms and two student bathrooms will receive a wainscot of tile with a coved schluter at the floor wall transition. 3). Walk on unit will be flashed off at the sides and top. 4). Ice machine will be spaced away from the walk-in wall to provide access to the floor sink. 5). Hose reel will have an integral PVB, this backflow valve will require testing and certification after installation. 6). Plate drop off window frame can be finished out with dry wall and painted with a washable paint. 7). Separate water lines at the two mop sink will be finished with an angle stop. 8). Mop sink swill be caulked in at the FRP trims at the top and floor junctures. Mop closet near the student bathrooms will be finished out with water sealed concrete and rubber coved base. 9). Hood will need to be caulked at the underside stainless junctures and vertical joints with the wall. 10). Water heater will be 119 gallon AO smith, please make sure to space from the walls so you can clean around it if not stand mounted. 11). Doors to restroom 104 and 106 will need to be self closing. Construction is at 70%. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Printed Kim.
