Owner contacted Department to determine if permit class could be lowered from a Class 4 to a Class 3 E&D permit. Per inspector, establishment currently cools 2 food items (lo mien and breaded chicken). No raw meats are sold as Ready to Eat. Permit class will be lowered to a Class 3 E&D permit. Class 3 E&D permits may cool 2 or less food items, while class 4 E&D permits may cool 3 or more food items. Establishment may be required to increase permit class, in the future, if 3 or more food times are cooled. Emailed advisory report. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced
food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance
with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
