Inspection Comments

Final construction inspection for the pool bar. Construction complete and approved. The following items were discussed for follow up: 1). Clean out cover will be installed under the three compartment sink. 2). FRP will be repaired over the electric panel. 3). Mop closet must be sealed to the floor and should be flashed to the walls at the sides. Please close the gaps. 4). Please raise the bottom shelve on the stainless prep table. Location will receive a panini grill, hot case, small prep table, small convection oven and hot dog grill. Coffee brewer is hand filled. For now the patio doors are self closing. For walk-up orders and pass through windows you will need to provide a or a fly fan or self closing pas through window with a 1/16th inch mesh. Permit issued will Class III Eating and Drinking 0-9 Seating This establishment has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the issuance of this permit and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the permit fee to the Department’s Business Services Office. Per Chapter I, Regulation 4, of the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, no person shall conduct an operation or an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
