Inspection Comments

Pre-final inspection. Walked with the superintendents and plumbing foreman. The following items were discussed: 1). Enclosed room for the washer and dryer will get a cleanout cover behind the washer. 2). Penetrations through the walk-in ceilings will be filled in and finishe dout smooth 3). For the walk-in outside: a). Silicone the condensate line penetration. b). See if lights can be replaced with brighter lights. c). See if the school wants the sides and front and back juncture with the floor flashed off or if they can address possible pest harborage issues with the schools pest control specialist. 4). Dish washer drain will be mounted off the floor and led along the wall. One thing I did not check, make sure it is connected to hot water and not tempered water feed. 5). Tile next to kitchen mop sink stands open at the top, please caulk or grout.. 6). Please make sure to install covers for all outlets and junction boxes, there is one behind the dish washer. 7). Adjust all fly fan louvers 1-3% outward. 8). At all locations where water lines and electric conduit is brought up through the floor the penetration will be finished out cleanable. Make sure depressions in the floor are grouted in and then apply a bead of silicone beveled upwards along the conduits. 9). In restroom install cleanout cover and caulk toilet at the floor juncture. 10). On hand sink leaks in the culinary kitchen. 11). Adjust the drain line at the culinary arts three compartment sink so there is no over splash. 12). Please check and clean all aerators. 13). Please install al junction box lids and blanks where needed including the walk-in. Backflow valves were certified 10/13/2020 All equipment was on and in good working order except for a two door cooler. Window at culinary arts is self closing. Final is scheduled for the morning of the 29th of October. At time of final please make sure you have tempered water at the hand sinks. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
