Inspection Comments

New owner inspection. Walk through with the owner. The following items were identified for correction: 1). Hood is not working right, please have the hood serviced to provide more suction. 2). Please replace some of the bulbs and light covers in the kitchen so you provide 50 foot candles at the prep table. 3). Please caulk the hand wash sink at the back wall juncture in the front area, paint is peeling. You can also install some FRP with trims right above or behind the hand wash sink. 4). One of the Nina pitcher is cracked and damages, please replace. All equipment used will need to be commercial. 5). Please post a sign on the fridge tp state that the food in that fridge is personal. 6). The drain line of the front display freezers will need to be strapped to the wall and then led to the floor sink. Cut the pipe off at the elbow and see of you can create an air gap. Floor sink will need to be easily cleanable. 7). See if you can move some of the smooth ceiling tiles to the area over the front service cases. 8). Please provide test strips to test your sanitzer, santizer buckets will need to be properly labeled. Corn is cooked on the stove and held on the stove at 135 degrees Fahrenheit. This establishment has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the issuance of this permit and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the permit fee to the Department’s Business Services Office. Per Chapter I, Regulation 4, of the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, no person shall conduct an operation or an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. We accept cash, check, money order, credit/debit. It is the responsibility of the permit holder/owner to notify MCESD if there are contact/ billing address changes. One of the owners will take the food service managers exam. The other has taken the food handlers test. No foods are cooked and cooled at this location. Permit issued is a Eating and Drinking 10 + Seating Note that the facility is approved as is and that changes to the layout or equipment changes may warrant prior approval and possibly plan submittal.
