Inspection Comments

First walk through with the superintendent for the retail permit. Plumbing is about complete. The following items were discussed: 1). It may be tat one water heater is installed. This can be approved but a condition will be added to the permit that if you ever loose too much pressure on the hot water line during a health inspection you will need to install the secondary unit. 2). A air curtain will be installed at the entrance of the restrooms. 3). Reduced pressure principle backflow valves will be installed at the connection of the soda fountains (4) in both locations. One may serve multiple units. There is no need for doubling up on valves at the filter system and downstream and if needed some valves at the filter system may be removed. Valves will require a hub drain assembly and testing and certification before final inspection. 4). Separate water feeds will be installed at the mop sinks. 5). Discussed bag in the box location in the food service area. Ideally it is not installed at the service line in a tight area where it is now. Discussed stubbing out for a secondary water heater. Notes: Store will be on city water and not a well. Establishment will store city water in a tank outside and bring the water into the store where it will be run through a booster pump. Water treatment system is located in the support room and will not be RO. Just for safety and to prevent corrosion of the treated water the water will be run from the filter system to the beverage counter and the soda system through PEX and not copper. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to superintendent. Inspection rights provided.
