Construction Inspection - 20% - E&D Class 4 This inspection was conducted with the on site superintendent. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Van R, at the time of this inspection. Address the following prior to final permit approval; 1. Provide waterproof material such as FRP on the walls behind, underneath and around the mop sink, three compartment sink, food prep sink(s), mechanical dishwasher and all other moisture related areas. 2. Provide the 80 gallon water heater currently here on metal stand that allows for cleaning underneath. 3. Ensure that the floor i the facility is non-absorbent and smooth enough to be easily cleanable. 4. Provide a cove base finish at all floor/wall junctures throughout the facility including the employee restroom. 5. All openings to the outside must be self closing or screened. 6. Remove the ceiling fan from the old kitchen area. 7. All countertop material must be solid surface material such as stainless steel, granite, Corion etc. 8. Walls underneath and around the exhaust hood must be covered with stainless steel. No county legal action will result from this inspection.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
