Inspection Comments

Second inspection for the black rock coffee surprise. Walk through with superintendent. The following items were discussed: 1). Sectional roll up door will not be installed for now. Electric is in place for future installation. If possible install fly fan / air curtain anyway so you are ready when the door is installed. 2). Mop sink will be flashed at the top and side to wall or caulked with a beveled bead away from the wall. 3). Escutcheon plates will be installed for the walk-in condensate and ac condensate drain lines at the mop sink. 4). Please base out the cove under the east counter with coved bas as well as the corner of the walk-in at the mop sink. Base out all black FRP in the service area. 5). If counters have a wooden substrate then paint panels first on the underside before installing and seal the wood. 6). The following backflow valves will be required: a). A dual check valve that meets plumbing standard ASSE 1022 for the Espresso machines, Coffee brewer and Nitro Coffee Brewer. Page P4.1 b). A Reduced Pressure Principle backflow valve upstream of the RO system instead of the 1022 detail 6 P5.1. Drain should go to mop sink and please have valve tested and certified before final inspection. c). Any counter mounted pitcher rinsers will require a RP valve also. (Not in plan). 7). Hand wash sink will be installed in the back room and caulked at the top wall juncture. 8). Please silicone the door frame at the floor juncture at door between front and back of the house. 9). Please mount the water heater on a stand if not already planned or space so you can clean around it. 10). All cracks, joints and crevices will need to be sealed. 11). Drive through window ill need to be self closing. 12). Silicone the schluter at the floor juncture where running away from the floor - mostly drive through. 13). Caulk all open corners in the coved rubber base with black caulk, also at joint with door frame. 14). Caulk in the small window at the drive through. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to superintendent. Inspection rights included.
