First inspection walk through with the superintendent. The following items were observed: 1). Water lines is in for the shake machine swing faucet to the north side of the west wall hand sink. #7 Page P1.1 2). Water line is in for the shake machine connection. #2 page P1.1. This machine will require a backflow valve upstream. 3). Waterlines are still being plumbed in for SK-2 prep sink page P1.1. 4). Separate water feed, cold is being installed at the mop sink #8 page P1.1. 5). All floor sinks are in place. 6). Backflow valves should be installed per detail A1 page P4.1. 7). Plumbing for beverage machines should follow this detail for source so all lines for the beverage machines need to originate in the water filter / water softener room or backflow valves will need to be moved to the service points. If you want to change some of the valves to Double Check valves in stead of Reduced Pressure Principle (RP) valves that can be approved for ice machines and coffee / tea brewer. Line to soda system and shake machine should remain RP valves. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to superintendent. Inspection rights included. Note that there should be no copper installed downstream of the backflow valve for the soda system.
