First inspection for the Badaz Axes. Location will most likely install a single belt donut toaster. Electric indoor venting. Donuts come in frozen. Please follow up on the items below before your re-inspection: 1). Provide self closers on the restroom doors. 2). Make sure you have hot water in the restrooms and at the front sinks. 3). Provide a utility sink with hot and cold water. Do not install a pull out faucet and make sure that there is no hose thread on the faucet. 4). Install coved base along the diamond plate in the food service area. 5). Provide a stainless work table. 6). Provide a commercial freezer for the storage of the donuts. 7). Please provide additional lighting in the corner where the donut prep will take place. At time of final please provide: a). Dish soap, sanitizer, test strips, non latex gloves, drying rack if needed. Food handlers training will be required for everyone working with the food. Obtain within 3 months of opening. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Printed on site. Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
