Inspection Comments

First inspection walk through with owners and the superintendent. The following items were discussed: 1). Floor will be epoxy paint throughout including the restroom. 2). Floor in mop room will need to be water sealed. 3). FRP will be installed at the wet walls - three compartment sink, hand sink and at the utility sink 8 feet up. 4). Rest of the walls may be painted with washable paint. 5). Ceiling in the restroom will need to be washable paint and vinyl faced dry wall panels in the coffee shop. Ideally you also paint the ceiling in the mop room with a washable paint as it comes in at 9 feet. 6). Coved base will be installed throughout the coffee shop, restroom and mop room. 7). Filter system, water softener and water heater (50 Gallon) will be installed above the restroom. Pressure relief can be led into the drain pan and drain pan is being led to the floor sink as well as the water softener back wash line. 8). Double check valves noted in the plan can be installed at the coffee counters. One each will work for us after which you can split the line and lead t the different beverage machines. 9). Windows are self closing and restroom door has closer as per plan as well as for the back door. 10). Lights are surface mount in the mop room and restroom. 11). Note that the double check valves used will need to be tested and certified before final inspection. 12). A drying rack is suggested in order to properly air dry washed dishes. 13). Beverage counters will get a backsplash so painted walls are ok throughout. Please note that if you install some type of blender washer then install a counter mounted type like Blentec. Rinse wands placed in sinks are considered a submerged inlet and require additional backflow protection. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Inspection rights included. E-mailed to owner.
