E&D, class 3 10+ Equipment inspection was conducted with the Superintendent, Jim. Construction is at 80% completion The establishment can stock and train. Scheduled for final construction inspection on 2/8/22. Please ensure all City’s finals had been approved. Please address the following items prior to the final construction inspection: 1. Repair / replace the sensor on the hand sinks in the restrooms. Sensors are not working at the time of inspection. 2. Certify all testable backflow devices and provide reports. 3. Some of the bullnose tiles are top set on the floor tiles. Please smooth out the edges to provide the required sanitary cove base. 4. Trim off excess foams inside the walk-in units and provide several coats of gloss paint on top of the foam. 5. Caulk and seal all gaps, cracks and penetrations throughout. This includes inside the walk-in units. 6. Provide soap and paper towels at all hand washing sinks. 7. Clean all construction debris on ceiling, walls, floor, inside cabinets, shelving and inside and outside of the equipment before stocking merchandise and training staff. No County legal action will result from this inspection. The inspection rights sheet is emailed with the report to the person in charge. e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
