Inspection Comments

First inspection for the Aldi store. Walk through with the superintendent. 1). Separate water feed for chemical dispensers is installed at the mop sink. 2). Floor sink is in for three compartment sink. 3). Vacuum system connection to the water system will be protected by a Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve. Valve will be tested and certified. 4). Lighting at the back sink will be high but might may not provide the minimum lighting at the three compartment sink. 20 foot candles is required. Please provide another light over the sink. 5). Page A213 detail C3 please provide VB-1 along the wall behind the sinks if no curb is poured in that area due to the legs of the sinks. 6). Concrete curbs in walk-in units must be finished smooth, properly coved, beveled away from the wall at the top edge and thoroughly sealed. Construction is at 30%.
