Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-205.15 (A), P: System Maintained in Good Repair; According to Law - The atmospheric vacuum breaker on mop sink faucet (outside behind kitchen) was observed continuously leaking when water turned on. This device provides back flow protection for this faucet. If it is leaking, the atmospheric vacuum breaker has likely failed. Please have this mop sink serviced so that it is adequate working back flow protection. A hose bibb vacuum breaker may be attached as a temporary correction to the violation. Additionally at time of inspection, observed spray nozzle left connected this same mop sink via hose. Spray nozzles or any other obstructions downstream of this device may cause back pressure and cause the atmospheric vacuum breaker to fail and therefore should be removed from hose after each use. Nozzle was disconnected at time of inspection.

Inspection Comments

This establishment received a(n) B Grade and had 1 Priority, 0 Priority Foundation and 0 Core violations on this inspection. Notes -Mop sink addressed in violation #49 does not slope to drain. Water from faucet does not flow into drain and instead onto sidewalk and eventually into street. If this issue cannot be addressed, recommend just completely removing the mop sink faucet outside and capping the water lines. This would also correct the violation as well if this option is taken. Mop sink basins should be sloped to drain. -No signature obtained. Inspection rights made available upon request to person in charge -Report delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
