Priority Foundation-6-501.115, Pf: Prohibiting Animals.........In establishment non-service animal dog laying on blanket next to bar. Per employee, customer stated dog was service animal but was not exhibiting service animal behaviors (playing with owner on blanket, not leashed). On dog friendly patio, customer had unleashed dog roaming around patio. Instructed employees on proper behaviors of dogs on approved dog friendly patio and service animal behaviors allowed in food establishments. Both inside and outside customers left establishment. (A) Except as specified in ¶¶ (B) and (C) of this section, live animals may not be allowed on the PREMISES of a FOOD ESTABLISHMENT.

Provided Maricopa County handouts for food borne diseases/symptoms and cleaning d/v accidents. Core-2-102.12(A), C: Certified Food Protection Manager .........No proof of certified food protection manager at establishment. Provide and maintain copy of food manager certification at establishment at all times. (A) The PERSON IN CHARGE shall be a certified FOOD protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an ACCREDITED PROGRAM. Establishment is approved for dog friendly patio permit. Confirmed signage, cleaning protocols. Provided hard copy of issued Maricopa County dog friendly patio sign. Establishment has outdoor smoker stored on patio outside of establishment. Outdoor smoker is not permitted for use with foods in establishment without obtaining an outdoor cooking remodel. Per employees, outdoor smoker is used for employees only. Person in charge consented to inspection and reviewed inspections rights with person in charge: Tim V. Routine inspection report was emailed to person in charge at establishment. Inspection report confirmed received. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
