Inspection Comments

First walk through of the Kitchen Building B. Plumbing is complete. The following was discussed: 1). Restroom B127 will receive an epoxy floor with Dilex coved schluter at the floor / wall juncture. Where the schluter does not meet the floor due to unevenness you will need to fill in the gaps. 2). Separate water feed is installed at the mop sink. Backflow valve will be installed within 5 feet from the floor and tested and certified before final inspection. 3). Control joints in the floors in the janitors closet B126 will be filled in and floor should be water sealed. Finish floor out first along the east wall before installing base. 4). For janitors closet paint the walls with a semi-gloss instead of the planned eggshell. 5). Provide a washable ceiling in room B126. 6). After the filter upstream of the steamer install a Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve. Install with hub drain assembly and have the valve tested and certified before final inspection. 7). Plumber will check and make sure copper is taped where running through the metal studs. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to Asst. Project Manager.
