Inspection Comments

Equipment phase inspection. Construction is at 90%. Walk through with the superintendent and the following items were discussed: 1). Back room dry wall will be painted with a wipable satin or semi-gloss to the ceiling. 2). Retail area, restroom and back room dry wall will be based out with coed base. 3). Control joints will be dilled throughout the store. 4). Separate cold water feed will be brought down from the water heater with angle stop to the mop sink. 5). All areas with corrugated wall panels will be caulked at the floor juncture. 6). Back door will get a door sweep and weather stripping. 7). Make sure to paint the floor panel under the water heater. 8). All penetrations through the walls will need to be finished out, like vent lines and sprinkler penetrations. 9) Coolers will not need to be flashed to the wall as the gas are covered by shelving or wall on both ends. Next inspection will be when coolers are on and you have hot water at both water heaters. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
