Status update: Retail food establishment, class 2 Construction inspection was conducted with the superintendent, John H. Construction of the building is completed. However, the equipment is not on site and still on order. Person in charge acknowledged the inspection rights. Please address the following items prior to the final construction inspection: 1. Provide trims in the between the FRP panels, around the edges and corners. 2. Seal gap at bottom and top of cove base to the floor or wall. 3. Seal spaces around the door frames. 4. Caulk and seal gaps at under counter mounted sink and countertop. 5. Seal any gaps that a business card can fit in throughout the area. 5. Ensure the cold holding equipment must maintain at 41*F or below and freezer must be able to maintain frozen food frozen. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Emailed the report to the owner and superintendent. Please contact the Department at 602-506-6824 to schedule the next inspection. Currently, allow 14-21 business days to schedule.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
