E&D, class 4, 10+ Plumbing inspection was conducted with the manager, Paul. Construction is at 30% completion. Please address the following items prior to the equipment inspection: 1. Provide an additional water stub out with shut off valve at the mop sink for chemical dispenser. 2. Provide a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly (ASSE 1013 standard) at the water connection point of the soda carbonator. Conduits and fitting after the RPZ must be PEX or stainless steel. Provide a drain cup for the backflow device’s vent. Drainpipe must be rigid and indirectly discharge to a floor sink with at least 1” air gap from the finished floor. Certify the backflow device and provide report. 3. Provide a RPZ backflow preventer for each the mister system and glass rinser, if they will be provided. 4. Provide 2 Navien 240p tankless water heater to meet the water demand. The establishment has a glass washer. 5. Provide a micro-switch activated air curtain at the delivery door. The inspection rights sheet is emailed with the report to person in charge. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
